Complaints

At Marple Bridge Surgery we do our utmost to provide you with the best possible care.

However if you have any concerns about your care then you can let us know verbally or in writing.

Please send written complaints to the practice manager via post or email to heather.underwood@nhs.net

The practice procedure for handling complaints fully complies with the NHS complaints procedure. We will keep you fully informed during the process. If you wish you can also have your complaint reviewed by the parliamentary and healthcare ombudsman.

If you prefer to complain directly to the commissioning organisation you should contact Greater Manchester ICB.

Details of how to do this can be found on the following website, under the “Local area feedback and complaints” section

Intergrated Care Have your Say

If you have a disability or language difficulty, please let us know so we can help you. Additional support is available.

Accessible Information Standard

We want to get better at communicating with our patients. We want to make sure you can read and understand the information we send you. If you find it hard to read our letters or if you need someone to support you at appointments, please let us know.

We want to know if you need information in braille, large print or easy to read. We want to know if you need a British Sign Language interpreter or advocate.

See our advocacy information in the further information part of our website.

Hearing (Induction) Loop

The practice has a portable induction hearing loop for those who are hard of hearing. It can be used at reception, or during a consultation with a Doctor. If you would like to use the hearing loop, just let us know at reception.
